Hines Student Competition Jury Member

Hines Student Competition Jury Member

What

Since 2003, the competition has engaged multidisciplinary student teams to devise a comprehensive development program for a real, large-scale site. Teams of students representing three or more disciplines have two weeks to develop solutions, creating materials that include drawings, site plans, tables, and market-feasible financial data.

How

A jury of 12 industry leaders uses member expertise to determine the winner of the competition. Jurors are required to meet twice – first in February in Washington, D.C., to evaluate the entries and name four finalists, then in April in the host city to watch live presentations by the finalists and select the winner. Full members will be given priority during the selection process.

To be considered for participation, please make sure to 1) update your ULI member profile with your biography and profile information before 2) filling out the Navigator inquiry form below.

Why

Jurors gain visibility as experts in the industry and help the Institute raise interest among young people in creating better communities, improving development patterns, and increasing awareness of the need for multidisciplinary solutions to industry challenges.
