Women’s Leadership Initiative Speakers Bureau Nominee
What
The WLI Speakers Bureau is an annual selection of women real estate experts who are candidates for prestigious international and national keynote, panelist, and moderator speaking opportunities. The inaugural cohort of Speakers Bureau members will be inducted in the Fall of 2021 based on their engaging speaking skills, leadership, and impact in the real estate industry. The Speakers Bureau list will be available to the extended Real Estate community.
How
Each ULI Member can nominate one experienced female speaker annually using the form below. The nomination form will be reviewed by the nominee’s District Council leadership, District Council WLI leadership, and ULI District Council staff who will recommend a limited number (based on District Council size) of nominees to the WLI Americas Executive Committee.
If selected, speakers will opt-in to being inducted to the Speakers Bureau by filling out a more comprehensive form to provide additional information on their speaking experience and real estate expertise. Additional women will be inducted to the Speakers Bureau annually.
Criteria
Nominees for the Speakers Bureau should be women who are highly accomplished speakers with demonstrated experience at the national or international level. The nominee should already be regularly featured at national and high-profile speaking engagements and be someone who you think is a powerful speaker with a strong perspective, presence, and deep expertise. Please do not include women who have the potential to be strong speakers, but don’t have proven experience at this time. The nominee does not have to be a current ULI member, but in order to be eligible for the Speakers Bureau, she will need to become a ULI member.
Why
The WLI Speakers Bureau will recognize and promote women in real estate with extensive speaking experience who have significant impact on the real estate industry. The Speakers Bureau will be available to organizers of ULI events and national and international speaking engagements at prominent industry events.
