What

Each year, ULI Washington recognizes visionary leaders and innovative projects that are shaping the region at the ULI Washington Awards for Excellence. ULI Washington convenes two juries of professionals (leadership and projects) that are representative of ULI Washington’s membership base and who’s backgrounds span the industry to review the applications, deliberate nominations, and select finalists.

If you are interested in being considered for this opportunity, please review and update the information in your member profile here including your name, title, company name, and a short biography and complete the inquiry form below to highlight your experience in the land use industry and previous ULI Washington leadership roles.

At a minimum, all Jurors are expected to:

  • Dedicate time to reading between 10-20 applications in depth
  • Join a minimum of three 4-hour long deliberation meetings
  • Conduct 4-5 follow-up calls and/or 1-2 days of site visits, depending on the programmatic need

It is expected that anyone expressing interest in a ULI Washington committee maintains their ULI Washington membership status for the duration of their time on that committee.

Participating provides an opportunity not only to engage in thoughtful conversation with peers, but also to be a part of the strategic direction of the ULI Washington district council.
