Why

The mission of the ULI New York Mentor Program is to foster an exchange of professional ideas and mentorship between experienced executives in the industry (“Mentors”) and young real estate professionals in ULI under the age of 40 (“Mentees”). Mentees will have the chance to learn from experienced industry players and bounce career-related ideas off someone they might not have otherwise met.

One of ULI’s primary functions is to promote the highest level of professionalism, and as we head toward greater specialization in our industry, this program will give Mentees exposure to a broader range of professional experiences than otherwise offered in their current positions. The program also offers Mentors the opportunity to strengthen ties with future leaders of the local real estate community by acting as an advisor, supporter, and coach to their assigned Mentees.

ULI New York Diversity and Inclusion Initiative

ULI New York’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion emphasizes the importance of diversity to intentionally engage and leverage each of our members’ different perspectives to promote the change and advancement required to better create and sustain the thriving, resilient, and equitable communities that are the foundation blocks of ULI’s mission.
