What
ULI Nashville is pleased to launch another year of the ULI Nashville Mentor Program which started in September 2014. With Nashville’s tremendous growth and the influx of talented, new members to the city, this is the ideal time to be a part of a program that amplifies ULI’s ability to be involved in helping shape the development of Nashville’s next generation of professionals.
Please keep in mind that we cannot accommodate all applicants due to the size of the program. If you are not selected this year, you will have additional opportunities in subsequent years.
How
The Nashville Mentor program provides a one-on-one Mentor/Mentee experience which can be as formal or informal as each pair chooses to make it. Past participants have enjoyed meeting: during a ULI Nashville event, for an informal discussion over lunch or coffee, at a site or office visit, and for one of four scheduled ULI Mentor Program meetings which bring together all of the year’s Mentors and Mentees.
- Term: ten months from September through July.
- Four planned events for all participants throughout the year.
- Monthly one-on-one meetings between each pair.
- There is a $50 fee for Mentees who are accepted into the program.
Why
The mission of the program is to foster relationships between seasoned professionals and young leaders in the real estate and land use industries through a one-on-one mentorship program. This will serve to strengthen the development and land use community in the Nashville area.
The benefits for all participants are numerous – all participants can anticipate making a difference in the lives of young professionals and gaining insight from experienced professionals operating in your field of interest through valuable networking opportunities. Through the program you will also cultivate personal and professional relationships that will contribute to continued career growth and help create a pipeline of talented industry professionals.
