The ULI Houston Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs) Committee helps to provide objective multidisciplinary advice to municipal and community-based organizations. Many of the organizations that the Committee partners with have limited staffing or financial resources and are operating in economically disadvantaged areas. The committee is directly responsible for community outreach and recruiting ULI Houston members to serve on panels.

The marketplace conference focuses on topics relevant to real estate professionals either in urban and suburban settings. The conference lasts one day and includes tours, a keynote speaker, break out sessions, a mentorship marketplace for students and, a sponsorship marketplace.
