ULI Cleveland International Visitor Delegate

ULI Cleveland International Visitor Delegate

What

In early November, the Cleveland Council on World Affairs will be hosting an international visitor delegation through the U.S. Department of State on the topic “Urban Renewal.” There are 7 professional visitors + 3 interpreters from Iraq who are here to gain insight on neighborhood revitalization initiatives and environmentally responsible urban planning. While in Cleveland, the visitors will be looking at residential planning and the design of low-cost housing projects to address an increase in informal settlement development in Baghdad.

As part of their local program, the group will connect with ULI Cleveland for a discussion on land use trends and zoning best practices to address poverty and homelessness. The group will be in town November 6 – 8 and we were looking to arrange a meeting on Wednesday, November 6th. A meeting would be informal, 1 – 1.5 hours, with plenty of time for Q&A/open discussion. The selected time for this meeting will be up to the ULI members.
