What
The Boston Urban Development Council (UDC) focuses on trends that drive development patterns and shape the urban environment and public realm. Meeting quarterly, the Council identifies emerging development opportunities, policy changes, and design strategies that will affect Greater Boston as well as the global economy.
How

Why
Participation allows leaders to develop trusted connections and share best practices.
Member Expectations
Council membership is open to any ULI Boston/New England member in good standing. Council leaders are encouraged to build councils comprised of diverse perspectives representing a variety of land use professionals, levels of experience, sectors, product types, genders, and ethnicities. Leaders are advised to make opportunities available to Young Leaders (members under age 35) and Pathways to Inclusion members.
Council Members are expected to attend the majority of meetings. Members who miss two consecutive meetings may be asked to step down if there is a waiting list to participate. All members should actively participate in meeting discussions.
Guests may be invited at the chairs’ discretion.
When
UDC Meetings will 4-6 times over the year and specific dates will be announced in future communications.
Cost*
LPC Annual Dues are as follows:
- Private Sector Members: $250;
- Public Sector Members: $100;
- Young Leaders: $100;
- Students: $25
*Additional fees may be required for activities like dinners, or other outings.

Space is highly limited for this opportunity, and preference is given to ULI's most experienced members.
