The Boston NEXT Council focuses on mid-career professionals ages 35-45(ish). Council meetings will focus on the latest trends in development, design, and more to evaluate what’s next in our market.

How

To apply, please complete the Navigator form below.

• 2024-2025 NEXT Council members must reapply to participate
• Space is Limited
• Preference is given to mid-career professionals
• Open to Young Leaders (limited), NEXT, Associate, and Full
• 4-5 meetings over the next year (60-90 min each). Meetings may include touring buildings/sites, lunch and learns, groups discussions, social gatherings as well as a holiday dinner in January (may require an additional fee).
• The application pulls information from your ULI member profile. If any of the information is incorrect, please make sure to update the information in your profile here
• Applications open through August 27, 2025 for the 2025/2026 meeting year.

Participation allows leaders to develop trusted connections and share best practices.

Member Expectations

Council membership is open to any ULI Boston/New England member in good standing. Council leaders are encouraged to build councils comprised of diverse perspectives representing a variety of land use professionals, levels of experience, sectors, product types, genders, and ethnicities.

Council Members are expected to attend the majority of meetings. Members who miss two consecutive meetings may be asked to step down if there is a waiting list to participate. All members should actively participate in meeting discussions.

Guests may be invited at the chairs’ discretion.

When

NEXT Council Meetings will be held 4-6 times over the year. Specific dates will be finalized soon.

Cost

LPC Annual Dues are as follows:

• Private Sector Members: $250;
• Public Sector Members: $100;
• Young Leaders: $100;
• Students: $25
