What
Since 1947, the ULI’s Advisory Services program has provided strategic advice to communities and organizations on a wide variety of land use, real estate, planning, urban design, economic development, and public policy challenges. Panels are three- or five-day assignments where members engage intensively with the sponsoring community or organization and with local stakeholders to develop a set of recommendations and solutions to specific challenges. The panel chair opportunity is open to members with extensive experience serving on past Advisory Services panels.

How
The panel chair leads a team of industry leaders including developers, planners, financiers, market analysts, designers, economists, architects, and public officials to provide practical and objective advice from a multidisciplinary perspective. Previous panelists may fill out and submit the inquiry form below to express their interest in serving as a panel chair.
Why
The panel chair plays an essential role in the success of the Advisory Service program. Chairs bring their professional and managerial expertise to lead a team of panelists to develop solutions to complex land use challenges. Chairs are able to negotiate between and build consensus among diverse viewpoints. Chairs, like panelists, form lifelong connections by serving with fellow panelists from ULI’s member networks.
Eligibility Score
Space is highly limited for this opportunity, and preference is given to ULI's most experienced members. This opportunity exists only for those members with previous Advisory Services panel experience.
