What

The Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Steering Committee develops programming to promote and support women as leaders in the real estate industry. WLI opens doors for more women to advance their careers and professional network on their terms through a series of targeted events, skills-building programs, and outreach initiatives.

The committee is comprised of 20-25 active members and has only a few openings each year to ensure all members have an opportunity to serve on a subcommittee in an impactful way. The WLI Steering Committee values multigenerational, racial and ethnic, and professional diversity on the committee and strives to reflect the larger WLI community in the group’s representation.

Members of the WLI Steering Committee are expected to:

• Attend and actively participate in monthly Steering Committee meetings or calls for the full Program Year (July 2024-June 2025).
• Volunteer to lead or serve on a subcommittee and attend subcommittee planning meetings.
• Attend and promote WLI programs and events  
• Actively participate in WLI Steering Committee programs and share ideas and enthusiasm for the initiatives. 

How

ULI Washington’s leadership will review your application, determine your eligibility, and confirm your seat on a committee. The application period closes on May 31, 2024. Anyone approved to serve on a ULI Washington committee is expected to maintain their ULI Washington membership status for the entirety of their term.
